Schoolings. Personal Secretary Wanted.

This is the semester to end all semesters.  Whatever has happened to me before this point in time in college does not compare to the current state of my academic affairs.  In my sixth year of college and I'm absolutely ready to be done!  Ha.  But not so easy.  I'm capping off my last semester of classes by taking a quaint 34 hours of classes.  Oops!  It's kinda my own fault for failing a class here or there and taking a LOT of semesters that were about 12 hours.  But when the choice came to take two semesters of 17 hours and have a dangling semester of student teaching next fall, I elected for my current enslavement to the University.

Alas, I'm not interested in pity, like I said, this was a choice.  However, hopefully you'll forgive any lack of communication this semester as I hopefully will be spending my nights and weekends right here, in front of my new macbook pro either typing away at papers that are likely due or reading like crazy.  P.S. I'm pretty sure that I've read more books since the start of the semester than I have in my last 5 years of college.  Once again, oops!

Thus far has been kind of a relief, I'm trying not to let myself get too confident because I'm actually only taking 25 of my 34 hours right now.  On Monday I start my last three classes at a local community college that will juxtapose themselves alongside my already full, UNL schedule.  Two of the three classes actually conflict at one time or another with another UNL class, we'll see how this works out.  Luckily they are all intro to whatever courses, so hopefully attendance policies are lax.

That about covers the bulk of my waking hours to date this semester.  Although this blog is technically to fulfill a requirement for a class (go figure) hopefully it will provide a nice creative outlet for myself as I continue my foray into unparalleled academic undertakings.
